Mrs. Gonzalez joined her husband, Roberto Gonzalez, in forming ETC and has served as its President and CEO since 1987. She studied Business Administration at Black Hawk College in Illinois and the University of Coahuila in Mexico and completed the Executive Education program at Harvard Kennedy School. She is an experienced leader in business, government, and the non-profit sector. Her experience in employment services and business savvy have shaped ETC into a top tier employment company in Houston employing more than 60 professionals.
She has been heavily involved in leadership roles in the Houston community. She served as the Chairwoman of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the boards of the United Way of Greater Houston; Memorial Hermann Children Hospital, Houston First Corporation, and the Center for Houston’s Future. She also serves on the Amegy Bank of Texas’ Advisory Board.
Mrs. Gonzalez has been honored for her accomplishments in both Illinois and Texas by the Illinois Migrant Council, the Martin Luther King Center, the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Texas Executive Women, the Association of Hispanic School Administrators, Univision, Texas Women’s Magazine and numerous other organizations. Most recently, she was awarded the Center for Houston’s Future Impact Award.
